Kissing Balls!

Kissing balls are a fresh green decoration that is hung outside. Apparently they are named that because women use to get kissed on the cheek under them. We made them on the snow day. They were originally made to sell at a FFA fundraiser, but it got cancelled. We were able to sell them to a friend's husband.

Cool huh?

Wow! Those are HUGE! Do they have misseltoe in them?

When I lived in Oregon and we had a bunch of misseltoe available I put it in the kissing ball. None in this one. Just noble fir, juniper, and blue spruce. Accents were oregon grape, pine cones, and some berry bush. You can put whatever you have available in them. We went to Home Depot and got the free noble fir branches that were cut from Christmas trees. I googled kissing balls and they can be made out of just about everything and in all sizes.
